I have been searching the old posts but am still confused. Do I need to install a Balast Resistor if I am using a coil with an internal resistor? I keep frying the points.

No. But make sure you really have a coil meant to be used with no external resistor. Adding a resistor won't hurt anything; it will give you less voltage at the plugs, but it'll work ok IME.

The condensor is responsible for preventing arcing across the points (and preventing multiple triggers). Also, points don't last forever.

The condenser value for the F134 is .25-.28 microfarads. It is different for the V6 Delco although the condenser looks the same and will connect up.
