Ok, I know that the OF flywheel will work on the EF 231, if balanced with the crank.
But, is there a 231 generic GM flywheel that will go with the 231 EF so I dont have to tear it down and go through the balancing process?
Where can I find a bolt up flywheel, what do you find it attached to?:?:?:?
    Thanks in advance.

Well, you'd need to find a car with the 231 EF and a manual transmission. Maybe one of the Buick sites knows of an aftermarket source.

Look at Chevy Monza's, Buick Skyhawk's, etc. from late '77-'80 with the even fire 231. Many of them had 4 speed and 5 speed manuals in them. Not sure of an aftermarket source however. I know when I was looking for one several years ago they were getting pretty hard to find. There are more aftermarket resources available now so someone may have reconditioned ones available.
