    FWIW, I replaced the windshield on my 74 and also bought the AA latches. I had to ream out the AA latches to line up with the holes and I also had to cut the thick part off the back of the AA adaptors because once installed they were too far away form the bottom frame for the wing nuts to tighten up.

    The top picture shows the top before the thickness(part where the three bolts are) was cut down, the bottom pic shows the final fitment after trimwork.
