Wheel cylinder rebuild

    Rock auto has them for ~ $16 each.

    $16 is middle-high for a drum brake wheel cylinder. No reason to question the quality based on price.

    I see. So are the cylinders that Kaiser-Willys sells and that are for sale on Ebay quite a bit overpriced?

    One or more of them is Bendix brand.

    A lot depends on popularity of the application. Certainly you'll pay more through a specialty retailer, compared to a discount retailer, or even your FLAPS.

    I can easily buy cylinders for my CJ-6 for about $5-7 each.

    True. Dang - counting the brake fluid, it costs me more than that to rebuild the old ones!
