Supposedly, it came off of a 3B:

I found it for sale with the transfer case for $150, but I have no idea if it will work with my Jeep ('65 CJ5).

Rancho it looks like. It only works in 2wd and leaves almost no Driveshaft.

ETA: I think I just answered my own question; Borg Warner? I thought these were just for 2WD applications?

I didn't see your post when I replied mb82; thanks.

Although not the same transmission, here's the Borg Warner OD (from Herm's page):

It is a Borg-Warner unit, used in wagons and pickups. It would be neat if you could use it in a CJ but I don't think you would have room for the od and a driveshaft. In a CJ6 perhaps, but not in a SWB CJ.

They do go in but I think the driveshaft ends up about 10" or so. Definitely not swb or lift friendly.

Rancho and Borg-Warner are both correct IIRC. Rancho adapted the B-W unit to Jeeps. The B-W electric overdrive was used in lots of cars, including Fords and Studebakers.

Pretty well covered by others but yea it’s a Borg Warner R-10, I had one just like it when I first bought my Jeep. Ended up taking it out and selling it because the rear drive shaft was only 8” long and didn’t allow for much axle movement. For a pavement Jeep, or very lightly wheeled one, it would be acceptable.
