    Sorry for feeding the OT posts Mike ... but this could be important.

    If you have a problem with straight-ahead stability on a stock configuration CJ (with reasonable lift), even at freeway speeds, then something is wrong.

    Evasive manuevers are a different story ... in that case you'll have to choose your comfort level. But in normal driving, you should have no trouble keeping it on the road.
